Fire kills mother, three children

TIRANA, Dec. 19 – A fire early Wednesday morning killed a 30 year old woman and her three daughters, a family from Gjakova, Kosova.
Sadete Gutaj and her three daughters, Diella, 10, Hajrie, 3 and one-year-old Dafina were living in an apartment at Komuna e Parisit in downtown Tirana when a fire spread through the apartment caused by heating equipment linked to the power network.
Firefighters were unable to reach the victims in time to save them. Sadete’s husband was away working a night shift.
